So sorry I have not done this sooner!
I set Lee a challenge to restore my bike I didn’t say who I was or anything being a local ish person but my son rides for a very BIG worldwide brand and as my bike come back better than when I first purchased it from Thetford Halfords who charged me £430 to buy it, PLUS build it only to find that all they do is take it out of a box, put on the pedals and put wheel on and straighten and align the handlebars and charge a stupid amount of money to “build it” is disgusting.
The cycle has not ridden properly since buying it just to be told I need to take out a service policy with Halfords and maintenance is then done for whatever needs doing – MINUS replacement parts even though it’s under warranty.
Lee picked up my bike asked no questions, kept me informed, sent me pictures, videos and explained everything he was doing, didn’t leave me broke or out of pocket and my bike feels like it’s brand new EXACTLY how it would of been to start with.
Discretion was assured as to who my family and mainly who my son is who is, a 3 time world champion for mountain biking and slopes style riding having raced for the likes of RedBull and Monster energy as well as competing riding road and gravel bikes and Lee has kept this all secret and we can’t thank him enough for it!
My son is now in the process of arranging for Lee to be his permanent bike mechanic after a full rebuild on his front suspension that we thought was siezed but nothing was too much for him, a week later his forks feel like new again.
So many people waste their money in these “high profile” stores whilst this small independent mechanics put them to shame so I am recommending Feltwell Cycle Services to all!
Lee is honest, inexpensive, and has an old-school knowledge as written and explained by my son, not an old fart like me haha, and gets the job done to the highest of standards. Even with his back in the state it is Lee fought on to get it done for us. You will not be disappointed!!!
